Lynch Technologies
EnerMotion is working with Lynch Technologies of Mississauga, Ontario, a group of companies specializing in fluid power component manufacturing, software, training and implementation services as well as digital solutions and engineering services. Lynch's highly experienced team consists of professional engineers across a diverse range of industries including automotive, aerospace and military. Their world-class manufacturing and prototyping facility features state-of-the-art numerically controlled production automation producing custom and high volume components for their international client base.


Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE)
EnerMotion and McMaster University have recently been awarded an OCE project fund to develop Smart Charging systems for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), and battery electric vehicles. The scope of the project encompasses smart charge controllers, smart charging stations, and smart grid implications for various transportation applications including passenger vehicles and commercial trucks.

The University of Western Ontario
The University of Western Ontario (UWO) is one of Canada's leading research-intensive universities. Now partnered with EnerMotion and collaborating with National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), UWO and EnerMotion are advancing the company's patent-pending technology exploring all mobile applications and markets.

 Mobility Canada – Mobilité Electrique Canada is a national membership based not-for-profit organization dedicated exclusively to the promotion of electric mobility as a readily available and important solution to Canada’s emerging energy and environmental issues. EnerMotion is an active member of EMC providing input with the PHEV/EV technology roadmap for Canada and participation on the Technology and Energy Development, and 'evTRM' Implementation Committees.

EnerMotion is pleased to have its Certificate of Authorization (Cof A) granted by the Professional Engineers Ontario (POE). This professional association licenses Ontario’s 70,000 professional engineers, grants temporary, limited and provisional licences to practise professional engineering, and authorizes businesses to provide engineering services to the public. It sets standards for and regulates engineering practice. Under the Professional Engineers Act, its statutory mandate is to serve and protect the public interest where engineering is concerned. Rigorously educated, experienced and committed to a Code of Ethics that puts the public first, licensed professional engineers can be identified by the P.Eng. after their names. EnerMotion abides by, and fulfills these CofA requirements while employing several P.Eng's.

EnerMotion is very pleased to receive support from Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC). This level of technical and commercial validation along with the financial commitment from SDTC is a testament to EnerMotion's experienced Executive management and the company’s exceptionally talented team including strategic partners. SDTC is an arm’s-length foundation created by the Government of Canada which has received $1.05 billion as part of the Government’s commitment to create a healthy environment and a high quality of life for all Canadians.  SDTC operates two funds aimed at the development and demonstration of innovative technological solutions.  The $550 million SD Tech Fund™ supports projects that address climate change, air quality, clean water, and clean soil.  The $500 million NextGen Biofuels Fund™ supports the establishment of first-of-kind large demonstration-scale facilities for the production of next-generation renewable fuels.

SDTC operates as a not-for-profit corporation and has been working with the public and private sector including industry, academia, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the financial community and all levels of government to achieve this mandate.  EnerMotion is one of the most recent Cleantech companies to receive financial support from SDTC (please check our PR page for more details).


EnerMotion is very pleased to receive exceptional support and experienced guidance from the Research Innovation Commercialization Centre (RIC) in Mississauga Ontario. Their entrepreneurs in residence are seasoned business professionals (e.g. David Pasieka), who provide commercialization support and who are assisting us with taking our hybrid energy product to market. The RIC is a non-profit organization that provides business and technical services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to commercialize their innovation. EnerMotion is developing specialized hybrid energy software programs & systems, and smart charging products. The company has partnered with academics from St. Lawrence College, McMaster University and Queen’s University in a collaborative research effort focused on advanced vehicle hybrid technology and sustainable energy options – the next generation of economic growth for Canada.
